Our Founders
On the run from dictators and killer robots (etc.), chance brought our Founders together in an undisclosed Exemption Zone.
United against injustice, they embarked upon a research project that produced the driving force of the Chrono Chamber: the Time Crystal Engine (TCE).

The TCE capitalizes on quantum computing and the movements of higher dimensional structures to entangle a determinate physical space to an indeterminate quantum waveform.
Riding The Eschaton (Or, E-Wave for short)
There are, of course, many waveforms that one could entangle with. The Chrono Chamber is entangled with the wave known as The Eschaton (or E-Wave for short). E-Wave is a unique cosmic object that exists anywhere and everywhere a technologically advanced civilization nears a crisis point. By entangling the TCE with E-Wave, the Chrono Chamber is able to travel near-instantaneously to worlds at the edge of technological apocalypse.
Our research shows that earth cultures have come closest to grasping the E-wave in the late 80s through early 90s, especially in rave related circles. Your mushroom guru Terrence McKenna called it Time Wave Zero and expected it to arrive in 2012. He wasn’t too far off the mark on that prediction as our presence here means that this cosmic object has arrived. But don’t worry… we’re here to help you deal with it (sorry Terrence… there will be no rapturely rise from the flesh)
Our Purpose
Intent on increasing the success rate of tech advanced civs., our Founders embarked upon a heroic journey to provide refuge, resources, and knowledge to those whom such worlds sacrifice first.
